She was born Sept. 29, 1925, in Queens.
She worked for seven years as an office manager for the Dutchess County YMCA in Poughkeepsie. She also was a homemaker, raising her seven children.
A member at Regina Coeli Church in Hyde Park, she was very devoted to her Catholic faith and was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Parish Council and a weekly participant of the church's Perpetual Adoration Group. She also was an active bridge player.
She was predeceased by her husband, William P. O'Neil.
She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Ryan and her husband, Peter; son, William FX O'Neil and his wife Gail; daughter, Kathleen Lasher and her husband Roy; son, Robert O'Neil and his wife Darlene; daughter, Peggy Latino and her husband, John; daughter, Barbara Kappelmann and her husband Richard; son, Thomas O'Neil and his wife, Suzanne; sister-in-law, Teresa Brock; sister-in-law, Barbara O'Neil; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Sweet's Funeral Home, Route 9, Hyde Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Brendan Fitzgerald at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Regina Coeli Church, 2 Harvey St., Hyde Park. Burial will follow in the family plot at Union Cemetery of Hyde Park.
