HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Margaret J. “Marge” Fuhrmann, 63, of Hyde Park, died Oct. 6.
She was born March 21, 1953, in Poughkeepsie, the daughter of William Edwin Bunt and Mildred J. Blauvelt Burt.
She worked for the Highland Central School District for many years up until her retirement.
Survivors include her husband, George E. Fuhrmann; mother, Mildred Burt; daughters, Denise and her husband Doug Decker and Lisa and her husband Joe Di Mattina; four granddaughters, Desiree, Deanna, Destiney and Ava; brother, Tom Burt; and sister, Carol Petrovitz.
She was predeceased by her father, William Edwin Burt.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will take place from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 38 Main St. Highland. A closing service will take place at 7:45 p.m. during the calling hours. Burial will be private.
