MILAN, N.Y. -- Marcella C. Perz, 93, a longtime Milan resident, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016, at The Baptist Nursing Home in Rhinebeck.
Born July 20, 1923, in Altoona, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George and Barbara (Koesbauer) Poppenwimer.
She married John Perz Jr. on June 25, 1949 in Altoona, and he predeceased her on June 10, 2007.
Perz was a communicant of St. Christopher's Church in Red Hook.
She is survived by her children, including her sons, John Perz of Red Hook, Robert Perz and his wife Nancy of Gilbert, Ariz. and Richard Perz of Red Hook; daughter, Linda Mabie and her husband Tom of Red Hook; and grandchildren, Sarah Coddington and her husband Clint of Kingston, Lisa Mabie and her fiancé Matt Smith of Sanger, Texas and Brittaney Perz of Gilbert, Ariz.
