Kevin James Mulligan, 61, Pleasant Valley Resident

PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. – Kevin James Mulligan, of Pleasant Valley, died on Saturday, March 12. He was 61.

He was born in Brooklyn on Sept. 21, 1954, to James and Mary (Liebacker) Mulligan. He owned and operated Colorworks, Inc., a painting company in Hopewell Junction.

He is survived by his children, Amy Mulligan of Pleasant Valley, Shawn Mulligan and his girlfriend, Stacey, of Pleasant Valley, Traci Mulligan and her boyfriend, Charlie, of Pleasant Valley, and Kevin Mulligan and his girlfriend, Katie, of Pleasant Valley; his granddaughter, Kaiya Rayne Wilson; his sister, Arlene Carroll and her husband, Richard, of Highland; his brother, Michael Mulligan and his wife, Melanie, of Hyde Park; and his former wife, Peggy Mulligan of Pleasant Valley.

He was predeceased by his sister, Maureen Hauschildt.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Hopewell Reformed Church, 143 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. 

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Hopewell Reformed Church.

Donations may be made in his memory to Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation or the Hopewell Reformed Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc.
