James R. Wyant, 56, Of Tivoli

TIVOLI, N.Y. -- James R. Wyant, 56, passed away Friday, July 29 at Vassar Medical Center.

Wyant enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and NASCAR.

For years, he worked with his father and had been a driver for Town Taxi.

Born Aug. 6, 1959, in Rhinebeck, he was the son of Lloyd Wyant Sr. and Anna (Rifenburgh) Wyant.

He is survived by a sister, Roseanna Link and her husband Tim; brother, David Wyant and his wife Amy; nieces and nephews, Lloyd, Danielle, Jessica Jennifer and Miranda Wyant, Savanna Link and DJ DePuy; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services are at noon Tuesday at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck. Interment will be in the Rhinebeck Cemetery.

Memorial donations to assist the family with funeral expenses may be made care of the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, P.O. Box 515, Rhinebeck, NY 12572.
