Born Feb.1, 1959, he was the son of Louis and Naomi Bennett. He graduated from Penn State University and earned his master's degree in 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Janine; two children, Louis and Alex Bennett and their mother Stacie Bennett; his sister, Jill Bennett-Kelfer and her husband Michael, along with their children Jess and Jordan; his brother, James, and his wife Joanne, along with their children Justine and Bobby.
Calling hours will be Sunday, June 5, from 4-8 p.m. at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 38 Main St., Highland. The funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, June 6, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Crum Elbow Rural Cemetery in Hyde Park.
