She was born in Podrala, Estonia, on May 9, 1938, to Voldemar and IIse (Patzig) Pass.
She emigrated with family during World War II and traveled through displaced persons camps before she settled in the U.S. in 1949.
She was a 1957 graduate of Poughkeepsie High School. She worked for General Motors for 35 years.
She is survived by her son, James and daughter, Kelli (Scott); granddaughter, Nicole (Brian); and great-granddaughter, Chastity.
She was predeceased by her husband, James and brother, Yuri.
Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be laid to rest next to her late husband at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday at Sweet's Funeral Home, Route 9, Hyde Park.
