Frank J. 'Butch' Rushano III, 52, Of Hyde Park

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Frank J. "Butch" Rushano III, a nine-year resident of Hyde Park and formerly of LaGrange, died Saturday, Dec. 26. He was 52.

An avid outdoorsman and hunter, Rushano was a member of the Pleasant Valley Trout and Game Club. He worked for BSB Construction in Poughkeepsie for the past several years.

Rushano is survived by his wife, Vera (Coons) Rushano; parents, Frank Rushano Jr. and Linda Emmett Rushano of LaGrange; step-daughters Tina Kosier and husband Chris, Tonya Landivar and husband Angel, Kat Finnegan and husband Ron, Sue Ellen Phillips and husband Rob, and Becky Ericksen; seven grandchildren; sister Doreen Holsopple; brother Joseph Rushano and wife Ann; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at Sweet's Funeral Home, Route 9, Hyde Park. Graveside services and burial of his ashes will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at St. Peter's Cemetery in Poughkeepsie.
