Donna L. Smith, 69, Of Rhinebeck

RHINEBECK, N.Y. – Donna L. Smith, a lifelong resident of Rhinebeck, died Friday, Jan. 8. She was 69.

Smith made numerous contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Project.

She is survived by her husband Gordon L. Smith Sr.; her three daughters, Rebecca Latendorf of Stanfordville, NY; Kelly Matthews of Milan, NY; Dina Connolly of Rhinebeck, NY; a son, Gordon L. Smith Jr. of Red Hook, NY; 12 grandchildren and one great grandson; five sisters, Gladys Williams of Millbrook, NY; Rose Coon of Rhinebeck, NY; Minnie Wooden of Milan, NY; Margaret Coons of Milan, NY; Catherine Wendover of Milan, NY; Donna Smith of Milan, NY; two brothers, George Wendover of Milan, NY; and Oscar Wendover of Milan, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Alice Van Echaute, Annie Brizzie, and Madeline G. Burton and also three brothers, Donald, Peter and Joseph Wendover.
