HYDE PARK, N.Y. – David T. Reynolds, a longtime Hyde Park resident, formerly of Valhalla, died on Sunday, Feb. 21. He was 89.

He was born in Bronxville on May 29, 1926, to Robert T. and Ruth Sisson Reynolds.

On Jan. 8, 1949, he married  Jane Stukey in White Plains.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He received the American Campaign Medal, EAME Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal and the Company Bronze Star.

He worked for New York Telephone and later, AT&T, in Westchester County. He retired in 1983 after 30 years of service and moved from Valhalla to an 1833 home in Hyde Park.

He is survived by his three children, William Reynolds and his wife, Marian, Pamela DeBuono and her husband, Joseph, and Bruce Reynolds and his wife, Tracy; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

His wife died in 2013 and he also was predeceased by a brother, Dean C. Reynolds.

There are no calling hours. Cremation will take place and his ashes will be buried in the family plot in Evergreen Cemetery, Factoryville, Pa.

His family requests memorial donations to Sparrow's Nest , 942 Route 376, Suite 215-216, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Route 9, Hyde Park.
