PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. -- David Allen Knapp, 60, of Pleasant Valley, died Tuesday, Sept. 6. He was 60.
He was born Aug. 23, 1956 in Poughkeepsie.
A local resident all his life, he attended Arlington High School, as well as BOCES for air conditioning and refrigeration. He was employed as an auto technician for Friendly Honda in Poughkeepsie.
He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed going to car shows, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; mother, Lorraine; daughter, Rachael; sister, Linda; and brothers, Kevin and Steven.
Visitation will be from 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday with a service to follow at 4:30 p.m. at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie.
