Beverly Marilyn Richter, 90, Of Hyde Park

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Beverly Marilyn Richter, a resident of Hyde Park, died Sunday, Jan. 24. She was 90.

Richter was born in Poughkeepsie on April 1, 1925, the only child of the George and Louisa Traudt Sheldon. 

She was an active member of the Hyde Park Dutch Reformed Church and worked on many church functions.

She is survived by her two sons, Steve and his wife, Patti, of Pennsylvania, and Jeff and his wife, Cindy, of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Amanda (Ian) Schaff of Pennsylvania, Ginger (Christopher) Nixon of North Carolina, Keith (Bethany) Richter of North Carolina, and Joshua Richter of New York. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Julian Puskarich, Ada Grace Schaff, and Eleanor and Everett Nixon.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Wallace E. Richter.

On Sept. 12, 1948, she married Wallace E. Richter, who died in December, 1992.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday, Jan. 29, at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Route. 9, Hyde Park.

Funeral services will follow at 12 Noon at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the family plot in Union Cemetery of Hyde Park.
