She was born Oct. 19, 1927, in West Orange, the daughter of the late Emidio Yannazzone and Sylvia Centrella Yannazzone.
She was a daily communicant of Regina Coeli Church, where she served as lector, Eucharistic Minister and Eucharistic Adoration participant. She volunteered for many years at Saint Francis Hospital and Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and performing secretarial support in the Infection Control Department.
She also was employed as a secretary and retired from the Poughkeepsie Central School District.
Calling hours will take place from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday at Sweet's Funeral Home, 4365 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Regina Coeli Church, 2 Harvey St., Hyde Park with Father Joseph Gaspar officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, 171 Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie.
