These Area Post Offices Are Without Power After Nor'easter

More than two dozen Hudson Valley post offices remain without power following Friday’s Nor’easter that rocked the region with 60 mph wind gusts and a storm.

The United States Postal Service issued an alert on Monday afternoon regarding recovery efforts at post offices in the region that remain without power as they await utility companies to restore facilities’ electric.

The post offices without power include:

  • Amawalk (10501);
  • Briarcliff Manor (10510);
  • Crompond (10517);
  • Granite Springs (10527);
  • Harrison (10528);
  • Jefferson Valley (10535);
  • Lake Peekskill (10537);
  • Lincolndale (10540);
  • Purdys (10578);
  • Shenorock (10587);
  • South Salem (10590);
  • Thornwood (10594);
  • Holmes (12531);
  • Barryville (12719);
  • Callicoon Center (12724);
  • Eldred (12732);
  • Glen Spey (12737);
  • Highland Lake (12743);
  • Long Eddy (12760);
  • Narrowsburg (12764);
  • Neversink (12765);

Officials did not have an estimated time of restoration for power at the Hudson Valley post offices.
