Sex-Abuse Trial Of Former Dutchess County Official Moves Forward

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N. Y. -- A former Dutchess County legislator and Boy Scout leader facing accusations of sexual abuse of minors was in court Tuesday as part of pre-trial negotiations on evidence, Time Warner Cable News is reporting.

Prosecutors agreed to share their case file with attorneys for Michael Kelsey while Kelsey agreed to allow statements he made to be used in his upcoming trial April 26 in St. Lawrence County, Time Warner Cable News says.

Kelsey is accused of touching a 15-year-old boy on a 2014 Boy Scout camping trip to Cranberry Lake, and also trying to touch another, Time Warner Cable News reports.
