Police are seeking the public’s assistance as they search for a wanted man who failed to answer charges of reckless driving.

An alert has been issued by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office for 31-year-old Cody Deangelis, who the Sheriff’s Office says may be in the area of Poughkeepsie.

The Sheriff warns that if Deangelis is spotted, he should not be approached and one should notify local law enforcement agencies. Anyone with information on Deangelis’ whereabouts have been asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office by calling (845) 486-3800 and referencing warrant number 5282. Tips can also be texted to (845) 605-2583.
