Poughkeepsie Plaza Donates $500 To Hudson Valley Hospice

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Poughkeepsie Plaza donated $500 to Hudson Valley Hospice, a local, non-profit health-care agency which provides compassionate care and support for individuals and families in Dutchess and Ulster Counties who are faced with a life-limiting illness.

Care provided by Hudson Valley Hospice includes certified hospice nurses, medical social workers, home health aides, spiritual care, volunteers, medical equipment and supplies, along with music and other complementary therapies, and grief and bereavement support. 

The donated funds were a portion of the vendor proceeds that were collected from the 18th Annual Health and Wellness Fair that was held at the Poughkeepsie Plaza on Feb. 20.
