Man Charged With Assaulting Two SUNY New Paltz Students

NEW PALTZ, N. Y. -- A Bronx man who is not a student at SUNY New Paltz is facing sexual assault charges for incidents involving two students on-campus and off, according to Time Warner Cable News Hudson Valley.

University police arrested Brian Sanchez from the Bronx Sunday in connection with on-campus assaults earlier this month, Time Warner Cable New Hudson Valley said.

He is also facing rape, criminal sexual act and unlawful imprisonment charges from New Paltz Police for an off-campus incident. He is being held in Ulster County Jail on $50,000 bail, Time Warner Cable News Hudson Valley reported.
