LaGrange Man Faces Charges After Domestic Dispute Gets Physical, Police Say

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A 22-year-old Dutchess County man is facing multiple charges after allegedly becoming physical following a verbal altercation with people protected against him in LaGrange.

State Police troopers from Poughkeepsie were dispatched to LaGrange on Monday, where there were reports of a domestic incident.

Following a brief investigation, police said that it was determined that following a verbal argument, LaGrange resident Robert Wilson was involved in a physical altercation with two protected parties who had a limited order of protection against him.

Wilson was arrested and charged with a felony count of first-degree criminal contempt and harassment, a violation. He was arraigned int he Town of LaGrange and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. He is due back in court on Tuesday.
