Kingston Dentist Facing Murder Charge Released on $1M Bail

KINGSTON, N.Y. -- An Ulster County judge Tuesday ordered a Kingston dentist accused of second-degree murder be released on $1 million bail, according to Time Warner Cable News.

Gilberto Nunez, who is accused of forcing Thomas Kolman, 44, of Saugerties, to take the substance that killed him in November 2011, according to media reports. Nunez was arrested last month in connection with the death, the story said.

Judge Donald Williams ordered Nunez, a Poughkeepsie resident who practices in Kingston, be released on bail, but that he must wear a GPS-monitoring device on his ankle, according to the story.
