Dutchess Boces Culinary Students Learn Basics Of Military Cooking

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Dutchess BOCES culinary students learned in the ins and outs of Military MRE, or meals ready to eat, Wednesday during a crash course in military cooking given by members of the New York Army National Guard, reports the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Students were able to tour a mobile kitchen typically used by the military in the field, then were paired into teams to create tasty dishes using MRE as their main ingredient, according to the report.
