Crash Snarls Evening Commute In Dutchess

A motor-vehicle crash on a stretch of the northbound Taconic State Parkway led to gridlock during the Friday evening commute.

The crash occurred at Route 82 in Hopewell Junction, bringing traffic to a standstill, with motorists being diverted to alternate routes.

After the roadway reopened and the left lane remained closed, there were stop-and-go delays to Beekman Road.
