Poughkeepsie Mayor, Officials To Appear In 'A Christmas Carol'

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Rob Rolison is ready for his closeup.

The Poughkeepsie Mayor, along with other state dignitaries, local officials and aspiring young artists will kick off the holiday season with special appearances in upcoming performances of Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' at Hyde Park's Half Moon Theater, on the campus of the Culinary Institute of America.

The following is a full schedule of who will be making appearances at various performances.

Friday, Dec.9 at 8 p.m.: Didi Barrett, state assemblywoman.

Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m.: John Nelson, Director of Public & Community Affairs, HealthQuest/Vassar Brothers Medical Center. 

Saturday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m.: Frank Castella, President of Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m.:  Rob Rolison, Mayor of Poughkeepsie.

Saturday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m.: Ron Hicks, Assistant County Executive - Economic Development.

Visitors can dine at the Culinary Institute before taking in the show.
