Olivia Wilde Praises Beacon Hotel On Social Media

BEACON, N.Y. -- What's better than waking up to the sounds of a waterfall rushing past your bedroom window?

Not much, and apparently actress Olivia Wilde agrees. During a recent stay at the Roundhouse in Beacon, the actress took to Instagram to gush about the hotel's virtues.

"Those two windows were my home for the past week in Beacon, NY, as we kicked off our epic shoot for A VIGILANTE. This hotel, @roundhousebeacon, is friggin lovely, gorgeous, and delicious (best ramen in my long, ramen-slurping life). The waterfall flowing right outside your bedroom window is insanely beautiful and doubles as a pretty reliable sound machine. Go stay there!"

Known as one of the area's favorite places for weddings, the Roundhouse was built in the early 1800s and has been home to many businesses across the last 200 hundred years including the H.N. Swift Machine Shop that reportedly made the first lawnmowers.

Revamped in 2010 by a local Beacon family, the hotel offers high-end amenities of all kinds.
