Following Saturday's Dash, runners will be up bright and early to hit the pavement to take part in Sunday's 26.2-mile marathon and the 13.1-mile half marathon. In addition, this year, the College to College five-kilometer race, will take the place of the Treetops to Rooftops 5K.

Both races begin and end at Marist College, while College to College five-kilometer race begins near Dutchess Community College and ends at Marist.

To help prepare for the weekend of running and walking and riding, the Dutchess County Department of Public Works Highway Divison has been on site prepping the waterfront area for the weekend's festivities.

All of the slots have been sold for runners, but the organization is encouraging residents and fellow runners to come out to cheer on the participants.

Sunday's events get underway at 7 a.m.
