"What can you tell by looking at a skull?" organizers ask. "Children become detectives, examining the skulls of animals from our region to learn about predator and prey animals."
The cost is $2 per child, and an adult must accompany the child. RSVP by calling 845-889-8851.
The session begins at 1 p.m. The historic site is located on Old Post Road, in Staatsburg.
The program also repeats on Saturday, Aug. 13, at 1 p.m., and registration is again required.
