Rhinebeck Concert To Pay Tribute To The Music Of Paris' Past

RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- The Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck is to host an evening celebrating the treasured French singers and songwriters of the past.

The show, scheduled for 8 p.m. on  Friday, June 24, and Saturday, June 25, is to feature the works of musical legends like Edith Piaf, Yves Montand, Jacques Brel, Charles Trenet and Charles Aznavour.

Their songs will be performed during a concert ("Midnight in Paris") by Elaine Rachlin, a singer from Rhinebeck, acclaimed singer and pianist Kathleen Landis, and Jean Brassard, a singer, actor and Bistro Award winner.
