Red Hook Library Takes Back 'Black Friday'

RED HOOK, N.Y. -- The Red Hook Public Library is taking back “Black Friday” by offering patrons a chance to escape the shopping madness.

The Red Hook Public Library is offering patrons a place to escape the madness of "Black Friday" shopping with a fall crafts workshop. The workshop takes place from 1-3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27.

On Friday, Nov. 27, from 1 p.m. till 3 p.m., folks can sit back, relax, and make homemade gifts in a fall crafts workshop featuring natural materials like pine cones and acorns, the library said.

The workshop is free.

The library is located at 7444 S. Broadway, Red Hook.
