RED HOOK, N.Y. -- The Spinning Yarn Knitters, a group of fiber enthusiasts, meet for knitting, crocheting, spinning, quilting and crafting at the Red Hook Library.

During renovations at the library, the group, which meets at 4 p.m. each Wednesday, is meeting at the Enchanted Cafe, just a few blocks north of the library. There is parking across the street in the village lot.

Last week so many knitters turned out (14) they barely fit into the cafe. The group's next meeting is at 4 p.m. Feb. 10.

The address of Enchanted Cafe is 7484 S. Broadway.
