Guests listened to live music, enjoyed snacks and fare from local establishments, and toured the grounds and interior of St. Margaret’s.

The building will be open for back-to-back entertainment and a large art exhibit from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Story time for children and a book signing by Iza Trapani, author of "Gabe and Goon," as well as Irish dancing and family music improvisation, will be featured on Family Day on Saturday.

From early summer through mid-September, art exhibits and performances will be presented, including live performances featuring music, dance and author readings and a curated show, “Lost/Found,” in July. The theme of "Lost/Found" relates to the repurposing of the St. Margaret's building and to the nurturing of abandoned girls who were sheltered and schooled there.

All events this summer are free and open to the public. Click here for a detailed schedule of events.

St. Margaret’s is located between Hannaford’s and Holy Cow at 7260 Albany Post Road (Route 9) in Red Hook.
