National Weather Service Gathers In Dutchess For Skywarn Training

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Dutchess County will host the National Weather Service for Skywarn training on Tuesday.

Skywarn is a nationwide network of volunteer weather spotters trained by the National Weather Service. 

Training is available for any resident with an interest in becoming a weather spotter. 

Training will be held at 392 Creek Road in Hyde Park from 7-9 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
