POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Plein air painter Laura Martinez-Bianco's work will be on display at the The Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center until Wednesday, March 9.

Martinez-Bianco works throughout the Hudson Valley and abroad. Her paintings capture the striking views of the area. Working plein air enables Martinez-Bianco to create her pastel paintings onsite, quickly capturing the light and color of a specific moment.

The variety of landscapes -- from mountains to river's edge and from fields and pastures to forests, villages and farmhouses--provide her unlimited inspirations.
