Japenese Flower Arranging Class Comes To Starr Library In Rhinebeck

RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Valentine's Day may be a thing of the past, but that's no reason to put off thoughts of flowers.

The Starr Library, 68 West Market St., will be hosting Ikebana: The Art of Japanese Flower Arranging at 1 p.m., Sunday, March 13.

The event will consist of a 30-minute demonstration followed by a hands-on workshop. There is a materials fee of $16. According to organizers, those in attendance will take home an Ikebana arrangement in a take-out container.

Those wishing to attend the event are urged to register and pay before Saturday, Feb. 27.
