HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Half Moon Theatre invites residents to an evening of ten minute plays at The Culinary Institute of America. Performances include a tasting reception on March 11 and 12 at 8 p.m.
Half Moon Theatre's annual Ten Minute Play Festival celebrates a partnership with The Culinary Institute of America with this year's theme, The Tasting Menu.
Eight talented playwrights, many of them local, have created an evening of short plays exploring a range of interesting subjects but with one important thing in common: each play incorporates a delectable dish which will then be offered on a tasting menu at a special post-performance party.
Tickets are $45 general and $40 for seniors. The performance is 90 minutes without intermission, and the tasting reception will directly follow the performance.
Directed by Michael Schiralli and curated by Darrah Cloud, David Simpatico and Patty Wineapple The festival playwrights include Rob Ackerman, Alexandra Angeloch, Darrah Cloud, Lisa Kimball, Howard Meyer, N.N. Ewing, David Simpatico, and Geoff Tarson.
The acting ensemble includes Nancy Auffarth, Rob Brinkmann, Asia Howard, Grace Angela Henry, Stephen Jones, Ryan Katzer, Barbara Rankin, Michael Withall.
