HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Hyde Park will celebrate the centennial of the National Park Service with Find Your Park, Museum, Historic Site: Gain a Classroom from Tuesday to Thursday, July 26-28.

The program will be held at the Henry A. Wallace Education and Visitors Center at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Home and Presidential Library.

Hudson Valley educators and the public are invited to discover new and innovative ways of engaging youths.

Featured speakers include Andrés Henríquez, vice president, STEM Learning in Communities, New York Hall of Science, and composer/musician T.K. Blue, who will discuss and play excerpts from "Follow the North Star." The suite was based on the life of Solomon Northup, who was kidnapped and sold into slavery.

The event will also feature Communities as Classrooms, a panel discussion with Torrance Harvey of Newburgh City Council; Steve Noble, mayor of Kingston; and Chris Pryslopski, Rosendale Town Board.
