Dutchess Interfaith Council Promotes Solidarity Walk For Muslims

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Dutchess Interfaith Council will host a solidarity walk for Muslims at Walkway Over the Hudson in Poughkeepsie on Sunday.

The walk will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. 

Walkers should assemble at Walkway Park's east gate on either Washington Street or Parker Avenue. 

First Evangelical Lutheran Church will host a vegetarian potluck iftar and program for Ramadan after the walk from 7:15-8:30 p.m. 

The church is at 325 Mill St. in Poughkeepsie.
