Boscobel Hosting Hudson Hewn Furniture Show

GARRISON, N.Y. -- Furniture aficionados will want to head to Boscobel House and Gardens in Garrison this weekend.

Boscobel is hosting a furniture exhibit featuring furniture makers from the Hudson Valley.

Boscobel is hosting Hudson Hewn: New York Furniture Now which features works by nearly a dozen contemporary artisans . The furniture makers draw inspiration from bygone eras as well as the constancy of nature.

“The elegant rooms for which Boscobel is so famous present a legacy of art and craft that continues to the present,” said Executive Director Steven Miller. “We are honored to place that heritage in a new context in this unprecedented exhibition.”

The exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and runs through August 14.
