Hundreds Gather In Dutchess To Remember MLK Jr. Legacy DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Hundreds of residents gathered Monday in Beacon to celebrate and remember the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the 39th annual MLK birthday celebration at Springfield Baptist Church. Before the service, hundreds marched to show their support and dedication to King's legacy. County Executive Marc Molinaro offered these words: "We all would benefit by turning down the noise and listening to one another and remembering that we all have something to give...as Dr. King reminded us, everyone can be great because everyone can serve."
