The restaurant, which has had to delay its opening at least two twice, confirmed on Wednesday that the opening is set for Dec. 31, reported the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Town officials and others will be treated to a  pre-grand opening night on Dec. 30 to act as a test run for the "big" day, said the Journal.

The restaurant, located at 2345 South Road, has brought 125 new jobs to the area and is still hiring. Residents interested in applying should call I845-544-8560, the Journal said.

Golden Corral isn't the only new chain restaurant coming to Dutchess County: The Tilted Kilt is scheduled to open within the next two weeks, and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is planning to open before the end of the year.
