DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and The Chamber Foundation, Inc. have promoted two staff members and hired two new employees.

“We’re thrilled to continue our culture of promoting from within as well as welcoming new, talented additions to our team," said Frank Castella, Jr., the chamber’s president and chief executive officer. "I am confident each will play an important role in our ongoing efforts to serve our local business community."

Louise McLoughlin was promoted to senior vice president of Business Services. She has worked with the chamber for eight years and most recently as vice president of workforce development.

Nancy Dewitt, is the new director of business services. Formerly of The Chamber Foundation, DeWitt has more than 20 years experience in healthcare and marketing. She educates businesses on the resources and benefits of Chamber membership and assists with facilitating network connections and developing and evaluating plans for strategic marketing.

Brianne Kelly is joining The Foundation as the new programming coordinator. The Hudson Valley resident recently returned from a 27-month tour with the Peace Corps, where she served as a youth development volunteer in Morocco. Kelly will coordinate all foundation programming, development and event management.

Jean Harris has joined the Chamber as director of events. Harris will oversee all chamber events, as well as coordinate services including venues, catering, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing and assisting with promotion. She has 26 years of experience in marketing and advertising at the Poughkeepsie Journal.
